saving files Knowing how to save files for a commercial print shop is essential for ease and satisfaction to any job. SPOT COLORS: Make sure if you are printing a one color or two color job that everything is set to black or specified Pantone Color and pictures are saved in grayscale. On the press we can print the color of ink chosen for your job. FULL COLOR PRINTING: All images and text should be set to CMYK. When photos or solids are left as Pantone Colors or RGB there will be a color shift. BLEEDS: When a image or design element is meant to "run off the page" the image must extend .125 inches from the edge of page.MARGINS: All reading text should be at a minimum of .125 inches from the cut edge. FILE FORMAT: The easiest solution is to save your file in a PDF format. If your design has bleeds, please make sure you click in your settings to save with bleed. Also convert your fonts to curves/paths/outlines before saving. Ensure all graphics are set prior to PDF to CMYK.OTHER FORMATS: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Photoshop, CorelDraw!, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Flexi SignPro. *please remember that when submitting these files there may be a shift in your design depending on fonts and preset guides in our applications. SUBMIT FILES: You can email your files to us, however sometimes files may be too large. There are lots of large file transfer programs to use to get your files to us via internet. We personally use Dropbox (www.dropbox.com)questions?Please don't hesitate to give us a call when saving your files. And don't forget - we have design services too!

In this folder you will find proofs for your project (password protected). We will not proceed until we have confirmation your proofs are approved. Please be aware that proofing via web/email is not a accurate color match for your final piece.

PLEASE NOTE:

While we do what we can to prevent errors, it is the customer's responsibility to double check spelling, grammar, layout & overall design on all proofs. If any errors are approved ALL original and reprint costs will be paid by the customer.
