OUR STORY
Coastal Press has served Carteret County since 1948, when Earl Mades opened Mades Print Shop in Beaufort, NC. The business later expanded under the Heath family and became Coastal Press, Inc. before being purchased by Steve Brock and the Brock family in 1996 and merged into one company in 1999.

Since then, the Brock family has grown Coastal Press into a trusted local print shop offering printing, design, mailing, and signage services while staying true to its small-town roots.
​
In 2022, the Coastal Press family experienced the unexpected loss of Chris Brock, whose passion and generosity continue to inspire the work we do. That same year, Dawn Brock became President and sole owner, carrying the family legacy forward.

Today, Coastal Press remains proudly family-owned, rooted in Carteret County, and committed to reliable service and personal care.

DAWN BROCK
PRESIDENT & GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Dawn serves as President and Graphic Designer. She combines creative vision with a hands-on approach, shaping projects from concept to completion.
BROOKE SMITH
PRINT PRODUCTION
Brooke works in our Print Department, overseeing every stage of production to ensure each job is printed to perfection.
JAMIE HUNNINGS
SIGN PRODUCTION
Jamie works in our Sign Department, bringing craftsmanship and attention to detail to every sign that leaves the shop.

Chris supports our Sign Production Department, lending a helping hand to keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish.

ADVERTISING & GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Addison assists Coastal Press with advertising and occasional graphic design projects, including the design of this website, lending a creative hand when needed.

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Jackson supports Coastal Press as an Operations Assistant, occasionally helping with deliveries and assisting the team with various production responsibilities as needed.
